Overview Research is a key component of Providence Health & Services. At the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute, research teams focus on a variety of diseases, including cancer, diabetes, infectious diseases, and heart disease. The Oregon Medical Laser Center discovers new ways to use laser surgery to combat a wide range of diseases. The Center for Outcomes Research & Education (CORE) measures treatment outcomes and uses these findings to offer new care solutions for our patients.
