Providence Clinic in Milwaukie Adds Family Medicine Physician

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Jessica Burness, M.D., family medicine physician, has joined the staff of Providence Family Medicine – Milwaukie and is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Burness also is a faculty member of the Providence Family Medicine Residency Program.

Dr. Burness says she decided to become a family medicine physician because she wanted to form meaningful personal relationships with her patients. “I enjoy the broad, holistic approach that family medicine offers. I also enjoy the opportunity to blend science and human interaction into personalized service,” she says. While she enjoys caring for a wide variety of people, she has particular interests in adolescent medicine, preventive medicine and infectious diseases. Dr. Burness believes in offering her patients well-informed recommendations that are easily accessible and understandable.

Dr. Burness received her medical degree from Brown University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in biology. She completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
