Orthopedic Spine Surgeon Moves Practice to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center

Jan. 15, 2008

WHAT: Orthopedic spine surgeon Mark Weston, M.D. is opening a practice on the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center campus.

WHEN: Starting Jan. 14

WHERE: Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
Medical Office Building, East Pavilion Entrance, suite # 210
9155 S.W. Barnes Road
Portland

DETAILS: Mark Weston, M.D. is starting his own practice, Portland Spine and Neck Surgery, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. The new clinic shares its location with Comprehensive Neurosurgical Consultants, led by Providence Brain Institute neurosurgeon Daniel Rohrer, M.D.

Dr. Weston says he is making this move, to enhance his ability to see patients both in the operating room and the exam room. “I am excited about moving my practice into the hospital where patients will have access to the full range of services,” says Dr. Weston. “From physical therapy and massage therapy to a full-service pharmacy, my patients’ needs can be met all in one visit.”

Dr. Weston received his medical degree at The University of Nebraska Medical School. He has received advanced training in the surgical treatment of spinal conditions. His goal is to treat patients’ pain while using the least invasive surgical techniques.

For referrals, physicians can contact Dr. Weston at his new clinic, Portland Spine and Neck Surgery by calling 503-546-3503 or faxing 503-546-3507.
