DETAILS: At this free forum, Providence dietitians will discuss how to make permanent changes in your lifestyle and health habits to lose significant weight and keep it off. Weight loss is a topic of concern for many Americans, especially women. Some women may gain weight more easily than others because of heredity, overeating, or a slower metabolism. Maintaining your usual weight often becomes more difficult as you age.

There are hundreds of different fad diets, weight-loss programs and outright scams that promise quick and easy weight loss. But the foundation of every successful weight-loss program still remains a healthy, low-calorie diet combined with exercise.

Providence Women’s Health is pleased to offer this opportunity for women to learn the latest information about your health and the health of your family. The lectures are free, but registration is requested. Register online at www.providence.org/classes, or by calling Providence Resource Line at 503-574-6595.
