Matthew Breeze, M.D.
Dr. Breeze believes in approaching his patients with humility, respect and empathy. “To me, the most important elements of the physician – patient relationship are communication, mutual understanding and trust,” he says. “I want to develop treatment plans that fit best for the individual within the context of their social and family circumstances.”
Dr. Breeze earned his medical degree from Oregon Health Science University, and completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Though born in Glasgow, Scotland, Dr. Breeze has spent most of his life in the Northwest. He is married and has a daughter, and enjoys traveling, reading and collecting music of all types in his off time. Dr. Breeze also speaks Spanish and German.
Shauna Ensminger, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine with Obstetrics
Dr. Ensminger considers listening to her patients as her most important role as a physician. “I enjoy interacting with patients and developing long-term relationships,” she says. “By listening carefully to their needs and concerns, I’m able to find the most effective treatment options for my patients.”
After earning her medical degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Dr. Ensminger completed her internship and residency in family practice at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She is board certified family medicine.
Dr. Ensminger can speak Spanish and looks forward to using her bilingual skills in her practice. In her free time, she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her cat and dog.
Monique Gedenk, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine
As a primary care provider, Dr. Gedenk believes that continuity of care is enhanced through the close relationship between patient and physician. In her practice, she stresses preventive medicine and emphasizes educating her patients to help them learn all they can about their illness.
Dr. Gedenk earned her medical degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her residency at Lancaster General Hospital's Department of Family and Community Medicine in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Thanh Long Pham, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine with Obstetrics
Family medicine appeals to Dr. Pham because of the comprehensive nature of the practice. He enjoys taking care of the entire family from delivering newborns to caring for elderly patients.
Dr. Pham received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Portland State University and his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. He completed his internship and residency at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Dr. Pham was born in Saigon and speaks fluent Vietnamese. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and volunteering in the Vietnamese-American community.
Aoi Mizushima, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine
Dr. Mizushima has always had an interest in community health and caring for underserved populations. “Being a primary care physician, one of the most important roles I have is to balance direct patient care and advocacy with paying attention to the health of the community as a whole,” she says.
Being of Mexican-Japanese heritage, Dr. Mizushima feels she is particularly sensitive to cultural differences regarding health care. And as a mother of two, she also knows about the challenges of raising children while being a working parent. As part of her practice, Dr. Mizushima offers gynecology and obstetrical care through to delivery.
Dr. Mizushima earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison, Wis. When away from her practice, she enjoys hiking, traveling and cooking. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Mark Thompson, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine
Dr. Thompson feels his most important role as a physician is to improve the overall health of the community. "The health of any community is best served by a solid foundation of primary care," he says. In order to achieve this, Dr. Thompson emphasizes helping his patients better understand the role they play in their own health by valuing close partnerships with patients to work on the health problems most important to them.
Dr. Thompson received his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed his residency and fellowship at Lancaster General Hospital's Department of Family and Medicine in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Kimberly Wehbe, F.N.P.

Kimberly Wehbe considers one of her primary roles as a Family Nurse Practitioner to be emphasizing preventive health care, educating about life style practices to sustain a healthy body and a sound mind. Ms. Wehbe feels that as a primary care provider she serves as a partner to her patients in making health care decisions.
Ms. Wehbe was born in Wisconsin and completed her nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and her master's degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She belongs to the Nurse Practitioners of Oregon and enjoys traveling, camping and reading.
David Wu, M.D.
Board Certified: Family Medicine
Dr. Wu’s philosophy of care focuses on the treatment of the total person. “The physical, mental and spiritual – along with a person’s environment – will determine their well being,” he explains. “I strive to look at all aspects of a person’s life to improve their health.”
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Wu earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. Dr. Wu also holds a doctorate in cancer biology from the University of Arizona.
In his spare time, Dr. Wu enjoys traveling, camping, cycling, playing the cello and spending time with his wife and son.
