Dr. Beecher

Heather Beecher, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Practice

Dr. Beecher’s philosophy of care embraces patient education, serving as an advocate for patients and working in partnership with them. She finds the most rewarding aspects of her work are getting “to listen to my patients’ stories and helping them to navigate the difficulties of illness and appreciate the value of good health.”

Dr. Beecher earned her medical degree from S.U.N.Y. Downstate, Brooklyn, New York. She completed her residency at Lutheran Medical Center in St. Louis.

 

Dr. Brischetto

Brenda Brischetto, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Practice

“I especially love delivering babies and watching them - and their siblings -- grow and develop over the years. How wonderful it is to be connected to their whole families!” says Brenda Brischetto, M.D.

Dr. Brischetto received her undergraduate and medical degrees at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. She completed her residency at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Mass.

Dr. Brischetto's hobbies include singing in the Aurora Chorus, dancing, pottery, yoga and outdoor activities.


Mary Lou Constante, M.D.

A specialist in women's health and obstetrics, Dr. Constante is a strong believer in preventive medicine. "As a family physician, I can treat each patient in a holistic manner that takes family influences and support systems into consideration," she says.

Dr. Constante earned her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and completed her residency and internship in family medicine at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California.


Dr. DeMunter

Jodi DeMunter, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Practice

Inspired, in part, by her grandfather, who was a physician, Dr. DeMunter strives to create a welcoming environment with her patients by emphasizing a partnership approach to health care. “Providing medical care means helping people through life’s events and challenges,” she says. “Everyone has the power to make healthy choices in their lives and I can assist with those changes by providing medical care and advice.”

A board certified family practitioner, Dr. DeMunter earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. She completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University.

Away from her medical practice, Dr. DeMunter enjoys knitting, camping, and making scrapbooks with photographs from her travels. She also enjoys studying to improve her Spanish language skills.


Dr. Kocher

Kristin Kocher, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Practice

One of Dr. Kocher's favorite things is being a mom herself. That's why she places a special emphasis on caring for the whole family in her practice. "I especially enjoy working with pregnant women and their children." She works with the entire family as it evolves from infancy to maturity.

Dr. Kocher earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and exercising.


Dr. Lang

Barbara Lang, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Lang finds the personal relationships she is able to establish with patients and their families the most rewarding aspect of her medical practice. “I find great joy in helping my patients achieve a healthyand satisfying lifestyle,” she says. “I chose to become a primary care provider because I like working with families throughout the continuum of care: from birth to end of life.”

Board certified in family practice, Dr. Lang earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University, and completed her internship and residency at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington in Vancouver.

Dr. Lang was born in Longview, Wash. Away from her practice, she enjoys travel, running and playing soccer.


Dr. Loomis

Anna Catherine Loomis, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Loomis was inspired to become a primary care provider after seeing the effect that finding a good primary care physician had on her grandparents. Now that she is practicing medicine she has several areas of focus, including supporting patients to achieve their health goals, working in partnership with her patients and providing patient education.

Dr. Loomis earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University. She enjoys travel and reading.

 

Karen Muchowski, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Karen Muchowski considers educating patients about their health care choices her most important role as a physician.

In her practice, she emphasizes preventative care. “I believe patients should take an active part in their health care decisions” she says.

Dr. Muchowski received her medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University.

In her free time, Dr. Muchowski enjoys spending time with her family and playing soccer. She is fluent in Spanish.


Dr. O'Neill

Elizabeth O'Neill, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

As a physician, Dr. O'Neill wants her patients to have an active role in their health care. “I view myself as a facilitator of patient-directed wellness, not only on a physical level, but on emotional and mental levels as well,” she says. “I believe this is best achieved by empowering patients to take leadership in their own health care decisions.” Dr. O'Neill's holistic approach to care also includes an appreciation for complimentary and alternative medicine.

Dr. O'Neill earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. She completed her internship and residency in family practice at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her clinical interests include women's health and adolescent medicine.

Dr. O'Neill is a native of Milwaukee, Wis. Away from her practice, she enjoys gardening, yoga, meditation and playing soccer. She also speaks Spanish.


Dr. Rosenberg

Daniel Rosenberg, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Rosenberg believes in empowering patients with the knowledge they need to keep themselves healthy. He finds that patients who feel in control of their health feel in control of their lives.

Dr. Rosenberg graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, N.Y., and completed a residency in family medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He is board certified in family medicine and provides a full range of pediatric, obstetric and adult medical care.

In his off time, Dr. Rosenberg runs, bikes, and cooks and provides free medical care at rock concerts through Northwest Rock Medicine.


Dr. Satterfield

Deborah Satterfield, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Satterfield thoroughly enjoys the ability to care for patients throughout their lives that being a family practitioner gives. She says she loves caring for people at every stage of life, from birth through childhood, adulthood and old age.

Dr. Satterfield earned her medical degree at the University of California-Irvine, as well as completing her internship and residency there. She enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities, horses and books.

Evan Saulino, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

“I enjoy teaching patients to understand how their body works in the context of their lives and illnesses. I especially enjoy pediatric and geriatric care,” says Evan Saulino, M.D.

A chemistry/biochemistry graduate of the University of California at San Diego, Dr. Saulino earned his medical degree and a Ph.D. in medical microbiology and microbial pathogenesis at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Mo. He completed his internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University.

Dr. Saulino has a strong interest in other cultures. He has two children and enjoys being outdoors, playing guitar and throwing pottery.


Dr. Shields

Kim Shields, D.O.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Patient education is the cornerstone of Dr. Shields’ philosophy of care. “My role as a family physician is to emphasize healthy living,” she says. “I strive to educate and encourage management of illness in a way that meets each patient’s needs – both physically and mentally.”

A fifth-generation family practitioner, Dr. Shields earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science University in Fort Worth. She completed her residency in family medicine at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.

Born in Plano, Texas, Dr. Shields enjoys hiking, playing “mind-intensive” games and doing crossword puzzles in her off time. She is fluent in Spanish.


Dr. Smith-Cupani

Kim Smith-Cupani, M.D.

Dr. Smith Cupani received her medical degree fromGeorge Washington university School of Medicinein Washington, DC. She completed her residency atNorthridge Hospital in Northridge California , whereshe was named 1989 Resident of the Year. She wasalso the president the Resident’s Association therefrom 1988-1989.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners and the Metropolitan Portland Medical Society.
