Kirsten Crowley, M.D.
Board Certified: Pediatrics
Dr. Crowley’s career in medicine is the culmination of a childhood dream. “I decided to become a doctor after having hand surgery when I was nine years old,” she says. “I chose to specialize in pediatrics because I love everything about children.”
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Crowley earned her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University. She has a special interest in neonatology – medical issues related to newborns - having completed a one-year fellowship in the field.
Dr. Crowley is married and has two children. Away from her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, cooking and reading. Dr. Crowley also speaks Spanish.
Gail Jacoby-Low, M.D.
Board Certified: Pediatrics
Dr. Jacoby-Low believes that being a pediatrician involves more than just the medical care of a child. “My philosophy of care not only takes into consideration the health and well-being of the child, but the family as a whole,” she says.
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Jacoby-Low earned her medical degree from Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine in Ramat Aviv, Israel. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
Away from her practice, Dr. Jacoby-Low enjoys running, skiing, yoga and reading. Above all, however, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Imelda Lacayanga, M.D.
Board Certified: Pediatrics
For Dr. Lacayanga, motherhood lends a sense of empathy to her medical practice. “As a mother, I feel I’m better able to listen and understand the questions a parent has about the development of their child or the stress they feel when their child is ill” she says.
A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Lacayanga earned her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. She completed her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Lacayanga was born in the Philippines and speaks Filipino and Spanish. Outside of her medical practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as traveling and cooking.
