Dr. Boboia

Dorina Boboia, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Boboia is a skilled internist. Her patients appreciate her experience and wide range of knowledge.

A native of Romania, she received her medical credentials there and built a successful practice in Bucharest before coming to the United States in 1980. She completed her internal medicine residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

Dr. Boboia combines the best medical knowledge available with a compassionate and caring approach to medicine. “Beyond treating the immediate health problem, the most important thing I can do is to understand my patient and all of his or her problems,” she says. “This overall understanding can be of significant help in managing my patients’ health.”

Dr. Corbett

Brett Corbett, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Corbett emphasizes respect and concern for his patients. “I believe my most important role as a physician is to first address what the patient wants by listening, asking questions and understanding their perspective,” he says. “This understanding serves as the basis for their overall health care.”

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Corbett earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento. He completed his internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University.

Married and a father of two, Dr. Corbett is devoted to his family. His interests away from his practice include outdoor activities, cooking and traveling.

Dr. Fellin

Samuel Fellin, D.O.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Fellin emphasizes prevention in his practice, and encourages patients to participate in their own care and health. “I feel my main role is as an educator, to teach patients about preventive measures and, when they’re sick, to educate them about the importance of taking medications as prescribed and other ways they can contribute to the healing process,” he says. “I enjoy being able to serve as a positive force in people’s lives.”

Dr. Fellin is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. He earned his D.O. at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of Pacific in Pomona, Calif., and completed his internal medicine residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Fellin enjoys outdoor activities, including running, hiking, camping and gardening.

Dr. Kim

Aileen Kim, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Kim is board certified in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences University. She completed her internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, and her residency at Oregon Health Sciences University Medical Center. Before joining Providence Medical Group/Mercantile, Dr. Kim practiced ambulatory and urgent care medicine.

“Good medical care starts with an appreciation of the whole person, not just the current medical problem,” she says. As a primary care physician, a wife, a mother of two teenage boys and an active participant in her church and community, Dr. Kim understands how our health depends on these vital connections between people. She enjoys working with adolescents, as well as adults.

In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys family activities, tennis, skiing, swimming, and classical music.

Dr. Langsdorf

Lawrence Langsdorf, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Langsdorf is board certified in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree at the University of Southern California Medical School, and he completed his internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County/U.S.C. Medical Center.

“I was drawn to primary care because I enjoy people,” says Dr. Langsdorf. “My goals are to empower my patients to actively participate in their care, and to develop close relationships with them so that I can give them individualized attention.”

“Family time is very important to me,” says Dr. Langsdorf; he and his wife have four children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, working with the Boy Scouts, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, and church activities.

Dr. Nagappan

Poombavai Nagappan, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

“I see primary care as the foundation for quality of life,” says Dr. Nagappan. “I approach every patient visit as an opportunity to improve that person’s quality of life.” In her practice, she believes in actively listening to her patients, educating them about healthy lifestyles, and following up after treatment to make sure her patients are doing better.

A board certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Nagappan earned her medical degree at Kilpauk Medical College in Madras, India. She completed her internship at Edgewater Medical Center in Chicago, and her residency at St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri.

In her free time, Dr. Nagappan loves to spend time with her family and friends. She particularly enjoys family trips to the mountains and lakes with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include traveling and photography.

Dr. Nathan

Ranjana Nathan, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Nathan comes from a family of physicians that practice all over the world. Her passion for medicine was inspired and fostered by her mother from an early age. She graduated with honors from Bangalore Medical College in India, and completed her residency at Legacy Emanuel and Good Samaritan hospitals in Portland.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Nathan emphasizes the importance of preventative medicine and healthy lifestyle, and her warm and caring personality puts her patients at ease. “I like to work in active partnership with my patients,” she says. “I pride myself on being a good listener and am gratified by the positive impact this partnership can make on health issues.”

In her spare time, Dr. Nathan enjoys spending time with her family, which includes two wonderful children. She loves to travel, and has a great appreciation for music and the arts.

Gregory Porter

Gregory Porter, M.D.

Dr. Porter emphasizes service and honesty in his medical practice. “I try to treat each one of my patients as if they were a member of my family,” he says. “Bringing relief and happiness to my patients is one of the most rewarding aspects of my practice.”

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Pacific Lutheran University, Dr. Porter earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He completed his residency at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center, and is board certified in otolaryngology.

Away from his medical practice, Dr. Porter enjoys camping and hiking with his wife and three children. His hobbies include collecting and making pocketknives.

Dr. Shenoy

Raghu Shenoy, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

Dr. Shenoy emphasizes patient education and preventive medicine as key aspects of his responsibility to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to his patients. He enjoys the long-term relationships he builds with his patients, finding great satisfaction in helping them stay healthy and solving their medical problems when they arise.

Born in India, Dr. Shenoy is a graduate of Kasturba Medical College in Karnataka, India. He completed his internship and residency at Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

In his free time, Dr. Shenoy enjoys cycling, camping, music, and surfing the Internet. He also does volunteer work for the Red Cross.

Dr. Thomason

Mary A.L. Thomason, M.D.

Board Certified: Internal Medicine

To Dr. Thomason, educating patients about healthy lifestyle choices is her most important role as a primary care physician. She also believes partnering with her patients is the best way to improve their quality of life. “Establishing long-term relationships with my patients helps me put the pieces of a patient’s history and their symptoms together to complete their diagnostic puzzle,” she says. 

A board certified internist, Dr. Thomason earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wis.

Dr. Thomason is married with two children.  In her free time, she enjoys jogging, biking, and playing with the family’s chocolate Labrador retriever.
