Oregon Medical Laser Center Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 16. Lunch provided. Ken Gregory, M.D., cardiologist, engineer and director of the Oregon Medical Laser Center, and his team of scientists share fascinating new research in the use of guided cell therapy to treat patients with advanced heart disease.
Heart Arrhythmia Center Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 15. Lunch provided. Daniel Oseran, M.D., medical director for regional arrhythmia services and an expert in diagnosing and treating irregular heart rhythms, showcases the latest heart–mapping and image–guided navigation technologies. He also will discuss new non–surgical treatment options to repair malfunctioning electrical systems in the heart.

Providence Stroke Center Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 6. Lunch provided. Ted Lowenkopf, M.D., neurologist and medical director of Providence Stroke Center, and Todd Kuether, M.D., interventional neuroradiologist, discuss advancements in treating stroke and other neurological diseases, including the important role imaging technology plays in diagnosis and intervention.
Providence Cognitive Assessment Clinic Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 8. Lunch provided. Michael Mega, M.D., Ph.D., neurologist and medical director of Providence Cognitive Assessment Clinic, shares his insights on maintaining sharp mental function, the importance of neuroimaging in the early detection of mild cognitive impairment, and how to slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease.
Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 and Nov. 11. Lunch provided. Stanley Cohan, M.D., Ph.D., medical director of Providence Multiple Sclerosis Center, discusses current clinical drug trials and development of the MS Registry and Network. This network will create a database to help scientists discover why the Pacific Northwest has one of the highest incidences of MS in the country. It also will be a regional hub for neurologists specifically trained to treat MS.

Ruth J. Spear Breast Center Tours: Noon to 1:30 p.m., on Nov. 11. Lunch provided. Miles Hassell, M.D., medical director of Providence Integrative Medicine Program, and Mary Malinski, R.N., discuss the role of diet and exercise in cancer prevention and treatment.
