Breast health is an important concern for all women. Many women have questions about when to have mammograms and other breast exams, and what to do if they find a lump in their breast.

Breast health nurses at Ruth J. Spear Breast Center are oncology nurses who are available to answer your questions about your own personal breast health. They provide education and support about both cancerous and non-cancerous breast health conditions to women and their family members.

Breast health nurses teach breast self-exam and breast health classes in the community. They are also responsible for coordinating a multidisciplinary conference for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and want their case reviewed by a panel of experts.
