Providence Beginnings teams special nurses and social workers together with doctors and midwives to provide a variety of services to help support women during pregnancy. Available services include:

Case manager assessment & client service plan
Connection to resources
Advocacy
Education and written materials
Support throughout pregnancy, hospitalization and discharge
Providence Beginnings is offered free of charge to all women whose babies will be born at a Portland area Providence Hospital (hospital services only for Kaiser members) or who are insured by Providence Health Plan.
Most women are referred into Providence Beginnings by their doctor or midwife; you are welcome to call us directly.
