Swelling

You may experience some swelling in your legs and feet soon after you give birth.  This is common.  Although uncomfortable, it is not dangerous nor is it a sign of infection or circulatory problems.  You may take warm baths and elevate your feet to make yourself more comfortable.  Within a week, the swelling should be gone.
