Conferences are scheduled to allow maximum attendance by residents and faculty.
Required conferences attended by all residents throughout the year include:
- Core Curriculum - 2nd and 4th Wednesdays monthly
- Procedural Workshops - 5th Wednesdays
- Journal Club - monthly
- Balint Group - scheduled as part of Wednesday core session
- Grand Rounds - weekly
- Resident Support Group - part of Wednesday core sessions for R1
Required conferences while on service rotations include:
- Morning Report - daily
- Psychosocial Case Conferences - weekly
- Medicine Rounds - weekly
- Surgery Rounds - weekly
- Morbidity/Mortality - monthly
- Pediatric Rounds - weekly
- OB Rounds - weekly
