Providence Milwaukie Hospital: Family Medicine Residency
Providence Milwaukie Hospital Family Medicine Residency is a 21-resident program under the direction of William R. Gillanders, M.D. This community hospital program has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) since 2000 and is the sole residency at Providence Milwaukie. Our program is located just six miles from the center of downtown Portland, Oregon.
Providence Health & Services is committed to diversity. Providence Medical Group–Southeast, one of two teaching clinics in the residency program, was recognized for diversity integration and cultural competence. Former Providence regional director of diversity Artharee Baruti mentioned that the clinic is the current role model and on the cutting edge for Providence Health & Services.
