Salary

Resident salaries are the same at all Providence hospitals and are competitive with other residency programs in Portland. These salaries do not include compensation for medical, dental, liability, life insurance and other additional paid benefits.

Effective July 1, 2008, salaries are:

R1 - $45,750
R2 - $48,000
R3 - $50,000

Parental leave in accordance with Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, residents are eligible for Parental Leave consisting of up to twelve weeks time off with continuation of full benefits
