Our graduates are prepared to pursue careers in a myriad of directions. Most choose a patient-centered career; some in outpatient general medicine, some as hospitalists, and some obtain subspecialty training.
Many carry the values of the program forward by focusing their practices on caring for the underserved (Multnomah County Clinic, Indian Health Service, or rural practice), or by working to improve the healthcare system (Medical Director, Salem IPA, Director of Quality Improvement of Providence Health Plans).
