Alzheimer's disease research study
If you have mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease, you may qualify to take part in a research study that is testing an investigational (not approved by the Food and Drug Administration) drug called bapineuzumab. Bapineuzumab is an antibody against amyloid-β protein, which is thought to cause Alzheimer’s disease. The drug helps remove this protein from the body. Learn more.

Are you at risk?
Fill out this “Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR)”. How to use this quiz: If any of the descriptions listed on the CDR quiz seem to fit you, give yourself the number of points assigned to that statement (for example, if you see "CDR 0.5" next to a statement that describes you, give yourself 0.5 points). If your total number of points for the quiz is equal to or greater than 1.5, there is cause for concern. Talk with your doctor about contacting Providence Cognitive Assessment Clinic for an evaluation.
