Dr. Gore talks about the iMRI on KGW
Dr. Gore is a neurosurgeon specializing in neuro-oncology and skull base surgery, cerebrovascular neurosurgery, minimally invasive neurosurgery and complex spine surgery. He joined Microneurosurgical Consultants and Providence Brain Institute in August 2008. Dr. Gore, an active research scientist, was involved with developing innovative endoscopic neurosurgical approaches to the skull base during his fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Ariz.
Dr. Gore has used intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI) technology throughout his residency and fellowship-level training. His skill in the use of iMRI technology is a critical component of the Providence Brain Institute’s dedication to defining tomorrow for comprehensive care of patients with neurological conditions.
He is a widely published researcher and author whose work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications, including Journal of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery and Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism. He has contributed chapters to “Cervical Spine Trauma,” “Surgery of the Cerebellopontine Angle” and “Neurosurgery Tricks of the Trade.”
