Overview Providence Health & Services is committed to helping older adults get high-quality health care. Our educational efforts in this area target three main audiences: primary care physicians, hospital nurses and patients.
Current educational projects include:
Helping nurses better understand the special needs of hospitalized seniors, thereby minimizing complications
Encouraging primary care providers to address advanced care planning during office visits
Developing geriatric training programs for family practice and internal medicine residents
