Healthy 'n Fit Pediatric Weight Management Program

Weight Management Program for Children and Teens

Healthy ’n Fit offers a comprehensive group program for obese and overweight children ages eight through 15 years.  The program begins and ends with an assessment by a registered dietitian from the Providence Neurodevelopmental Center for Children.

The 10-week class aims to teach families to develop healthy lifestyle habits that can be sustained over the long term.  In class, parents and kids work with the dietitian and a fitness specialist in a fun, motivating group atmosphere.

Here's what families are saying about our program:
Program was very informative.  I feel that the principles taught are common sense but sometimes hard to put into action.  This re-enforced what we (as parents) try teaching....My child got the messages and she is making better choices herself.

Great information presented in a very user friendly way.  Excellent with the kids and very approachable and open to ideas/suggestions.  (about our dietitian)

Clear, personalized feedback, positive relationship, adapted to specialized needs...Motivating and exciting instructor (about our fitness specialist)
