Providence Gately Academy offers the fundamental classes that would be expected at each grade level. We focus on developing a positive learning environment where students receive continual assessment and feedback for their individual learning goals.
In addition, we teach a Social Thinking Class, which provides practical, creative and fun strategies to help students become more aware of concrete social thinking concepts. With the explicit goal of improving social relationships and developing life-long skills, students develop more awareness of themselves and of others.
Our Student Ambassador program develops student leadership skills, preparing them for greater responsibility in everyday life.
During the summer we offer enrichment day camps for students entering grades 4 to 9. These fun camps focus on reading, writing, math and social thinking.
Gately Academy offers a range of social and emotional support to our students and families. The varieties of needs that arise from our students are well served by the diverse strengths of our staff team.
