Nov. 30, 2005 — Oregon Medical Laser Center Garners Prestigious Collins Foundation Grant.
Recognizing the potential of cell therapy to thwart heart disease, The Collins Foundation has awarded a $350,000 grant to the Oregon Medical Laser Center, based at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. The goal is to expedite the center’s cell therapy research program for the treatment of advanced congestive heart failure.
Nov. 9, 2005 — Oregon Medical Laser Center Clean Room: A Hybrid Between Academic Research Laboratory and High Tech Development Company. It’s cleaner than clean, and it’s the only one of its kind in the state and one of only a few in the country. The Oregon Medical Laser Center (OMLC), based at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, is now home to a tissue engineering and cell therapy center, the most advanced biomedical research, bioassembly facility in the region.
