Rehabilitation Services

 

Our rehabilitation staff works closely with family and caregivers for successful outcomes and delivers quality care, commitment and knowledge.

Patients having mobility or balance issues, weakness or any loss of range of motion may need rehabilitation services provided by our physical therapists. These professionals can provide:

  • Equipment, recommendations and training
  • Therapeutic exercises for strength, endurance and mobility
  • Gait and transfer assessment/instruction
  • Balance skills and fall-prevention tools

  • Caregiver training

Patients experiencing ADL and home safety difficulties, decreased upper body dexterity and vision or perception problems can benefit from occupational therapy. Our therapists offer:

  • Cognitive evaluation and training
  • Energy conservation
  • Adaptive equipment recommendation, design and instruction
  • Splinting and joint protection
  • Therapeutic exercises to improve hand/arm function

Patients with Parkinson's disease, ALS, dementia or have experienced stroke often have problems swallowing, communicating or having cognitive deficits need the help of a speech-language pathologist. Our experts can offer assistance with:
