Protect Your Clients While Protecting Yourself

 

You are invited to attend this continuing education conference as experts discuss the legal duties, liabilities and personal boundaries of guardians and conservators.

This year's featured faculty will be:
Wes Fitzwater, Esq.,
 an expert in the legal and crisis issues faced by the elderly and their families. He is a frequent speaker to senior groups as well as to Oregon attorneys; an author and instructor on topics ranging from long-term care and Medicaid planning, to incapacity, guardianships/ conservatorships, and legal ethics; and co-editor of the Oregon State Bar publication, "The Elder Law Handbook."

Margaret Tiffany, BSN, MSW, co-founder of an organization that serves as professional fiduciaries offering guardianship, conservatorship and case management services. Her career has centered on chronic disease and long-term care. She worked for Aging Services Division and was a social worker at Providence Portland Medical Center for 11 years, working with complex clients.
