Our High-Capacity Core Lab To better serve the Portland community as well as statewide Providence consumers, the core laboratory brings our best knowledge, expertise and resources under one roof. Located on the campus of Providence Portland Medical Center, the core lab is the hub of our statewide administrative and testing functions, and home to key phlebotomists, technical staff, pathologists and instrumentation. Because of these centralized systems, we can ensure the most comprehensive laboratory services with the greatest efficiency, reliability and quality.
