The second most common gynecological minimally invasive surgery performed at Providence is the laparoscopic removal of one or both ovaries.

Nephrectomy

Removal of the kidney, or nephrectomy, is the most commonly performed minimally invasive urological surgery at Providence hospitals.

Prostatectomy

As a treatment for prostate cancer, a radical prostatectomy involves the removal the entire prostate gland. Providence surgeons are experienced with laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, as well as robot-assisted radical prostatectomy.
