Providence physical therapists offer a special clinic for people with limited mobility. Our goal is to help clients improve their functional mobility through the use of appropriate scooters or wheelchairs. From evaluation to final fitting, we specialize in complex seating and mobility needs. We also help with financial arrangements, providing necessary information to physicians and insurance companies for billing purposes.

Pressure mapping to assess physical contact and give guidelines to reduce seating pressure
General physical evaluation:
Range of motion
Strength
Posture
Balance
Mobility safety
We work with mobility vendors to identify the chair that will best meet each person’s mobility needs.
Physician referral required.
