PAST FORWARD

The stunningly beautiful baldachino soars above the main altar of St. Peter's Basilica, where only the Pope celebrates Mass. The pilgrims enjoyed the opportunity to tour the basilica and many other religious and historic sites during their 10 days in Rome and Assisi.
