Oregon Medical Laser Center at Providence St. Vincent Receives Grant to Help Heal Wounded Soldiers


Oregon Medical Laser Center (OMLC) is one of the country's leading biomedical laser research facilities and the only center of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.

Oregon Medical Laser Center (OMLC), located at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, is the Northwest's only research facility to receive a portion of the U.S. Army's $85 million grant to develop cell therapies to help heal wounded soldiers.

'All in One' Center for Cancer Patients Opens at Providence Portland Medical Center

Heart Disease Remains Top Killer of Women Warns Providence Heart and Vascular Institute


Not everyone who has a heart attack feels the same symptoms. Women are more likely to experience symptoms other than chest pain, including shortness of breath, nausea and back or jaw pain

Heart disease is the nation's number one killer of women as well as men. More women than men die of heart disease, and six times as many women die of heart disease as of breast cancer.
