Diabetes and you

Often diabetes goes untreated because many of the symptoms seem harmless. Studies indicate the early detection and treatment of diabetes can decrease the chances for developing the complications of diabetes, such as heart disease or stroke. Learn your risk factors and how you can manage the disease and live a healthy, active life.

Scoliosis

Everyone’s spine has natural curves, but when an individual has scoliosis, their spine also curves from side to side. If your child or loved one shows symptoms such as uneven shoulders, an elevated hip, a prominent shoulder blade or blades, or ribs higher on one side of the body, schedule an exam with their doctor right away. Early intervention and treatment can keep scoliosis from getting worse.

Overactive bladder

Overactive bladder (OAB) affects about one in six men and women in the U.S. For people with OAB, they may feel a sudden urge to urinate that’s difficult to suppress and may cause incontinence (the involuntary loss of urine). There are treatment options available that can help alleviate your symptoms and manage the impact on your daily life.
