Providence Medford Medical Center is part of Providence Health & Services in Oregon, a not-for-profit network of hospitals, care centers, health plans, physicians, clinics, home health services, affiliated services and educational facilities. Providence Health & Services has a presence in five Western states: Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

One of southern Oregon’s largest employers, Providence Medford Medical Center is a fully accredited, 168-bed acute and outpatient care facility. The emergency department is designated a Level III trauma center.

In addition, Providence Medical Group (South) is the largest group of primary care physicians in southern Oregon, with offices located in Central Point, Shady Cove, Jacksonville, Phoenix and Medford. More than 50 physicians offer internal medicine, family practice, OB/GYN, pediatric, cardiology, and general and vascular surgery services.

Providence Medford Medical Center is located in the heart of the beautiful Rogue River Valley, 30 miles north of the California border. With 74,000 residents, Medford is the largest city in Jackson County. The population of Providence Health & Services’ Southern Oregon Service Area is approximately 280,000. Providence Cancer Center
Providence Cancer Center is a comprehensive regional center with highly advanced technology for diagnostic and radiation oncology. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, clinical research trials and a medical library.

Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Services
Focusing on early breast cancer diagnosis and on treatment options, the Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center uses the latest imaging technology including digital mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and computer-aided cancer detection. An oncology nurse navigator provides support and assistance for women with breast cancer.

Providence Regional Rehabilitation Services
Providence Regional Rehabilitation Services is the only CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation center in the region. The center offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care, including stroke recovery, therapy for brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic injury care, hand therapy and worker rehabilitation.

Providence Surgical Services
Providence Surgical Services consists of eight operating rooms with state-of-the-art equipment, including da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System and image-guided technology. Surgical specialties include urology, lithotripsy, OB/GYN, spine, cardiac, orthopedic, neurology, general/vascular, cancer, plastic, thoracic, trauma, and ear, nose and throat.

Providence Spine Program
Providence Spine Program combines a team of physician specialists to provide treatment options for spine patients, including medical and surgical evaluation, physician-assisted pain management, cutting-edge surgical technology, fitness-oriented physical therapy and vocational rehabilitation.

Providence BirthPlace
Providence BirthPlace is designated a Baby- FriendlyTM facility by the World Health Organization. Each modern, comfortable labor-delivery-recovery room has a wireless medical monitoring system. There are surgical suites for cesarean births and a special-needs nursery. Outreach services include education and certified lactation specialists.

Providence Home Care
Providence Home Care provides in-home care for chronic disease management, education, respiratory, cardiac care, nutritional services and medical social services. Physical, speech and occupational therapists help individuals maintain independence at home.

Providence Hospice
Providence Hospice assists in physical, emotional, social and spiritual end-of-life needs, with an emphasis on effective pain control and symptom management. Services are provided either in the home or in a long-term care setting.

Providence Spiritual Care
Providence Spiritual Care is committed to serving the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff, whatever the religious tradition. Services include counseling, ministry, crisis intervention and ethics consultation.
