Programs and Services
Women’s Health Through the Life Stages
Women’s health services include digital mammography with ImageChecker, stereotactic biopsies of the breast, ultrasound services, and osteoporosis diagnosis through bone density scanning. Maternity services include one-room labor and delivery suites, and parenting classes.

Family Practice Residency Program
The Providence Milwaukie Family Medicine Residency Program trains family physicians to be the cornerstone of patient-centered, community-oriented medical care. The threeyear, 21-resident program promotes lifelong development of the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to provide high-quality care, especially to those most in need. Faculty and residents provide patient care at the Providence Medical Group-Milwaukie and Providence Medical Group-Southeast clinics.

Direct Access Colonoscopy Clinic
Providence Milwaukie Hospital offers the services of the Direct Access Colonoscopy Clinic in cooperation with primary care physicians. The Direct Access Colonoscopy program eliminates the need for a separate office visit with an endoscopist prior to scheduling a colonoscopy at the hospital; this allows specialists to screen more patients.

Sleep Disorders Laboratory
The Sleep Disorders Laboratory provides diagnostic help for people suffering from breathing disorders during sleep, excessive daytime sleepiness or other sleep disorders. Staff can assist referring physicians in developing the best treatments for their patients.
