PVNA Services: Local, Quality Care
PVNA has experienced staff providing the highest quality of care and respecting the dignity of each individual we serve. Home care often helps speed recovery, can provide early detection or prevention of complications, and can prevent or shorten the length of hospitalizations. PVNA is highly rated by patients and their families, physicians and other health professionals in surveys about quality care, responsiveness and staff expertise. In the most recent state licensure and Medicare certification survey, PVNA had “no deficiencies,” which means there were no areas found needing improvement.
For more than a decade 98 to 99% of PVNA patients responding to our quality survey say they strongly agree or agree with this statement, “Overall, I am satisfied with VNA Home Health Care Services.”
To receive care at home, in most cases patients must be "homebound." This means they rarely leave home except for medical appointments. Care is provided under the direction of a physician and follows a plan developed to address specific goals.
