 Living Our Mission
The Providence St. Peter Foundation and the Centralia Providence Health Care Foundation were created to raise, manage and allocate charitable gifts. Each Foundation has a community-based board of directors sponsored by the Providence Health System. These dedicated volunteer leaders work with Foundation staff to reach out to the community and secure resources that support the Providence mission.
With special concern for the poor and elderly, these gifts are used by our regional Providence institutions to further the goal of improving the health status of our communities. In an era of rising costs and diminishing reimbursements, meeting this commitment is a greater challenge than ever before. That is why private donations are increasing importance.
Each year thousands of individuals, businesses and organizations give to Providence through the Foundations of Southwest Washington for the purpose of charity care, capital improvements, new technology, education and much more.
