Providence St. Peter Hospital Boldt Diabetes Center Presents a Diabetes Seminar

OLYMPIA—Providence St. Peter Hospital Boldt Diabetes Center is presenting a special diabetes seminar, "Know Your Numbers and Know Your Nutrition," on Tuesday, May 28, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Ross Tanner, D.O., medical director of the Boldt Diabetes Center, will discuss daily blood glucose levels, blood pressure, lipids, foot exams and eye exams. Registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator Linda Gooding will talk about nutrition topics, including summer foods, carbohydrate counting and how to read food labels.

The seminar is co-sponsored by Bayer Diagnostics. It will be held at Providence St. Peter Hospital, on the second floor in Room 200. To register, call  (360) 493-7567.
