Providence Centralia Hospital provides a variety of orthopaedic services to meet the needs of the residents of Southwest Washington. Our surgical services team has won national awards for quality and efficiency, and Providence Centralia Hospital has twice been awarded the Washington State Quality Award. We rank highly compared to other hospitals in terms of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
We provide the most up-to-date surgical equipment and continuing education to the nurses and therapists who work with orthopaedic patients following surgery. Some of the services we provide include:
Total joint replacement. Providence Centralia Hospital performs nearly 300 joint replacement surgeries each year. This includes knee, hip and shoulder replacements. As the population ages and surgical techniques evolve, this number will continue to increase.
Sports medicine. Any athlete who has suffered an injury wants to return to his/her sport as soon as possible. Whether you have a sprained ankle, a dislocated shoulder or a hamstring injury, we recognize your desire to return to your sport yet always ensure your safety as the first priority.
Physical therapy. We provide physical therapy services within the hospital and at outpatient clinics, including sports performance conditioning, return-to-work programs, incontinence treatment, vertigo treatment, physical capacity evaluations, lymphedema treatment, wound therapy, and rehabilitation of strokes and other neurological conditions.
Physical medicine services. Our physiatrists are experts in the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of non-surgical musculoskeletal conditions. They are also board-certified in the diagnosis and treatment of more complex neuromuscular conditions, such as muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis.
