 Michael Shannon, M.D., joined Providence Internal Medicine Hawks Prairie in 2007. Dr. Shannon specializes in endocrinology, treating patients with thyroid disorders, diabetes and osteoporosis. He is board certified in endocrinology, internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He completed his fellowships at the University of Washington.
Dr. Shannon was promoted in 2010 to Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington, and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Endocrine Days Educational Institute. He also serves as the Senior Diabetes Consultant for the Providence Health & Services Pharmacy, and speaks at Continuing Medical Education events across the West Coast.
