Inpatient Mental Health Services

We have an 18-bed voluntary acute care unit for inpatient psychiatry. Treatment is provided to adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The treatment team includes a psychiatrist, social worker, psychiatric nurses and occupational and recreational therapists.

Our treatment team provides individualized assessments and treatment planning, including

goal planning
medication education and management
patient family education groups
group psychotherapy
life skills
relaxation techniques
recreational therapy
discharge coordination
assistance with obtaining after-care
