Our Staff

The Regional Cancer Center at Providence St. Peter Hospital is staffed with surgeons, physicians and nurses who are devoted to early detection of cancer, accurate diagnoses, appropriate treatment and effective follow-up.

Our staff includes specialists in all cancer treatment fields, working as a team to ensure the best possible care for all patients. Medical oncologists, surgeons, gynecologists, internists and family practice physicians coordinate care together with other specialists.

Eight board-certified oncologists and one physician board certified in oncology/hematology practice actively at our center. In addition, oncology-certified registered nurses and other health care providers have undergone specialized training in cancer care and infection control. Our cancer registry coordinator is certified in tumor registry.

Also on the team are pharmacists, dietitians, physical/occupational/speech therapists, chaplains, counselors, and a master's level social worker specially trained in oncology counseling.
