How to Help

Volunteer Services
Volunteers with the Providence Regional Cancer System provide invaluable service to our current patients. Many volunteers are cancer survivors themselves, offering hope to the recently diagnosed or those having a particularly difficult time coping with their illness.

Through participation in the Buddy Program, volunteers are matched with current patients undergoing intensive treatment to offer support and guidance. Volunteers also staff the Cancer Information Center, participate in support groups and screenings, and offer their talents in other ways. If you would like to volunteer in our program, please call (360) 493-7960.
