Admission

Providence St. Peter Chemical Dependency Center utilizes the WAC-mandated American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) patient placement criteria. We believe strongly in the criteria, as it allows us to meet patients where they are at in the addictive or recovery process and make specific individualized treatment recommendations.

When calling about admission, it’s important we get essential information about those entering our program. Our admissions staff will discuss any medical and clinical concerns to best recommend an appropriate level of care. We will also need to obtain written consent to verify medical coverage. This consent form protects the confidentiality of the treatment participant by clearly defining those entities with whom we can communicate. It is imperative that we are able to reach the patient to discuss this information. If you leave a message for an admissions team member, please be sure to leave clear, complete information, including a phone number where the patient is guaranteed to be reached.
