Providence Employee Assistance Services (EAS) offers a free, confidential, problem solving and Familybrief therapy approach designed to help employees and employers address and effectively manage issues.  We provide comprehensive counseling and referrals to community resources, serving large and small organizations in the public and private sectors.

For Employers:
We work with you to develop a healthier, more productive workforce and many employers achieve cost improvement.  Your employees receives support whenever they need to work through marital conflicts, parenting concerns, financial issues, legal problems, grief issues and much more.

Studies indicate that trouble employees have:

  • 1 out of 3 employees are not productive on any shift
  • 1 out of 5 employees are clinically depressed
  • 1 out of 4 employees are effected by substance abuse
  • Higher rates of absenteeism
  • Increase potential for involvement in conflict or workplace violence

How does EAS help your managers and supervisors?
Consultation and training are available for management to facilitate the resolution of behavioral problems without the manager becoming involved in the employee’s personal or medical history.  80% of employees using EAS services are able to resolve their problems without utilizing health care benefits.
