Several options are available to treat sleep disorders. These include medication, stress reduction therapy, behavior (lifestyle) modification and, in some severe cases, surgery.

Providence Sleep Center Southwest Washington also offers Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) as treatment for sleep apnea. This extremely successful method consists of a small nasal mask/compressor unit, worn while you sleep, that delivers a continuous flow of air to keep the breathing passage open.

Most sleep disorders can be treated effectively, but only once the condition has been thoroughly and accurately diagnosed. To learn more about the possible symptoms and treatment of your particular sleep disorder, consult your physician, or contact Providence Sleep Center Southwest Washington at 360.493.7436.
