Every baby born deserves the best possible start in life. Yet almost every day, infants in the greater Milwaukie community need our help. Providence Milwaukie Hospital welcomes about 550 newborn babies into the world every year. Nearly three out of four of these infants need help because of their families’ financial circumstances.
With the financial support of Providence Milwaukie Foundation and the leadership of our Board of Directors, physicians and hospital administrators, Providence Milwaukie Hospital is committed to ensuring the highest quality of care for all babies born at our hospital.
Our vision is to make sure mothers and their babies receive the health care and services they need. Our “One Baby at a Time” campaign seeks to raise $2.5 million to provide this care to those who need it, regardless of their ability to pay.
