New Appointments at Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation

Henry "Hank" Ashforth is the chief executive officer of Ashforth Pacific Inc., a subsidiary of Ashforth Company. He has strong ties to the Oregon community. Ashforth served on the Oregon Trout foundation and provided leadership for sustainability projects throughout Oregon.

Lynn C. Johnson is managing director - investments of JGP Wealth Management Group. Mr. Johnson founded the company in 2001 after working in the banking industry and with Merrill Lynch Investments. He is a native Oregonian and has been active on multiple boards.

Stefan Kurschner is the general manager, controlling with Freightliner, a member of the Commercial Vehicles Division of Daimler. Mr. Kurschner has been with the company for a number of years and relocated to the Portland area in 2002 from Spain.

Bruce Korter has been affiliated with Providence St. Vincent Medical Center since 1981, starting initially on the medical foundation board. He eventually served on the advisory board and then was a member of the council of trustees. Korter is the managing director of Washington Capital Management.

Susan Paulsell is a partner at Merrill Lynch Brokerage. An investment broker for 25 years, Paulsell is a former Portland Art Museum board member, current board member at SEI, and has served on the OHSU Women's Committee. Paulsell is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism. She has four grown children and is an avid golfer and runner.

James "Jim" Snow is the retired owner of Stevens-Ness, a publishing company. Snow has nearly 20 years of service as a member of Providence St. Vincent's volunteer guild. Snow volunteers in the Radiation/Oncology Department, as well as in hospice oncology. He has served in various board positions with the guild, and is a founding member of the Providence St. Vincent Cancer Support Group. Snow has been active in a number of organizations including the Pittock Mansion Society, Oregon Printing Industry, Deschutes Club, and the Mazamas.
