The Portland-area community has shown unprecedented support for the Providence Together campaign, the most comprehensive fund-raising initiative in Providence’s history. With oversight from community and business leaders, the campaign has passed halfway mark; to date, it’s reached more than $40 million of its $74 million goal.
The community has responded to the campaign’s appeal of partnering with Providence Health & Services to enhance research, prevention, diagnosis and care for some of the most pressing health care challenges of our time – cancer, heart disease and neurological disorders. The campaign also strengthens our care for medically fragile children.
"The Providence Together campaign is really going to bring a new standard of care to our community," said Lynn Loacker, who co-chairs the campaign with her husband, Jack, as well as Frank and Mary Gill. "Thanks to the dedication and commitment of so many donors and volunteers, the campaign has made significant progress and is on track to help fulfill Providence’s mission of service."
Thank you to the many Providence Together campaign donors for their generosity in helping Providence meet the most pressing health care needs of our community.
