Providence Internal Medicine - Newberg

Dr. Bergquam appreciates the day-to-day interaction she has with her patients. "I enjoy learning about my patients' lives and feel privileged when they trust me with their personal joys and concerns," she says.

With both her parents in the medical profession - her father is a physician and her mother a nurse - Dr. Bergquam likes to say she was "guided" into medicine. She attended medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y., and completed her residency at Providence Portland Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Bergquam grew up in the Portland area. She is married and has a son and a daughter.
