R. Guy Hudson, MD, MBA

Dr. Hudson serves as chief executive for the North Division of Providence, and as president and CEO of Swedish Health Services. In these roles, he oversees the health system’s operations in Puget Sound (Washington) and Alaska and all facets of operations for Swedish.

During his career at Swedish, Dr. Hudson’s leadership roles have included executive medical director of pediatrics and pediatric specialties, chief medical officer for Swedish Medical Group, chief of physician services for the Western Washington region, and chief of urology. Earlier, he practiced at Oregon Health & Science University following his residency there. Dr. Hudson is chair of the Washington State Hospital Association and a member of the Community Development Roundtable.

Dr. Hudson received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and his MBA from the University of Washington. He completed a pediatric urologic surgical fellowship at University of California at San Diego.
