Timothy Zaricznyj, Ph.D.

Director, supportive housing

Timothy Zaricznyj, Ph.D., serves as the director of housing for Providence Health & Services. He leads 14 affordable housing programs in Washington, Oregon and California, and is responsible for developing new supportive housing programs.

He has been with Providence since 1994 beginning as a service coordinator at Providence House in Oakland, California, and over the years has accepted positions of increasing responsibility in the Providence supportive housing ministry. Prior to joining Providence, he worked for the Valley AIDS Project in Pleasanton, California.

Zaricznyj holds a doctorate in education from the University of San Francisco, a master’s in counseling and educational psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a bachelor’s in history from Canisius College.
