Credena Health announced as Patient Choice Award finalist
March 1, 2017
Credena Health has been named a finalist in the prestigious Patient Choice Awards in the non-PBM/Payer Specialty Pharmacy category. This inaugural award recognizes specialty pharmacies with the highest patient satisfaction ratings across the United States.
As a premier pharmacy, Credena Health dispenses drugs that treat complex conditions and often require special handling and instruction. Patients receiving these drugs require a significant degree of ongoing patient education, support and monitoring. Credena Health, in partnership with the patient's doctor, provides the patient with 24-hour access to pharmaceutical experts, exceptional customer service and individualized care.
Responding to the news, Glenn Wachter, Credena Health’s Director of Business Development stated, “It’s an honor to be named as a finalist for this award, and its’ validating that Credena Health is living by the very founding principles and missional promise of our organization: ‘Know me, Care for me, Ease my way.’ Our staff care deeply for our patients, and our ascending Net Promoter Scores and this award nomination confirm that we are truly living our mission well.”
According to Tammy Pierce, Credena Health’s Director of Pharmacy, “Patient satisfaction is a thread running through every part of our care delivery process. We understand that our patients are quite ill, and rely upon our expertise and commitment to deliver the very best care possible.”
The Patient Choice Award is based on results of the ZHI Patient Satisfaction Survey – the first industry-wide patient satisfaction survey to provide objective, comparative assessments of all major specialty pharmacies. This survey enables specialty pharmacies to comply with accrediting requirements, as well as to assess their own and competitor performance. The Patient Choice Award is co-sponsored by Specialty Pharmacy Times®, a full-service media resource dedicated to the business and practice of specialty pharmacy, and Zitter Health Insights (ZHI), which provides life science, specialty pharmacy and managed care organizations with insights to optimize patient access to pharmaceuticals.
